No, not to Greece. Not yet, at least.
Right now we’re in beautiful Denton, TX for a few days visiting with family and friends. Sunday, we’re heading to Ft. Collins, CO for two months of cross-cultural ministry training with 40 other staff, to be capped off with Campus Crusade’s semi-annual staff conference.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on our training in the weeks to come! We’re excited to see what we’ll learn and how we’ll grow. We hope to leave this training in July feeling better equipped to begin a ministry in Greece.
With us in Colorado will be Jeremy and Julie Apel, who will be working with us next year in Athens. We can’t wait to see them!
The May Edition of the Wheatley Word is hot off the press, and we’d like you to take a look!

Thursday May 3, after 5 years for me, and 9 months for Catherine we emptied our San Marcos apartment, loaded up a uhaul, and headed to Friendswood to continue raising support for our move to Athens, Greece. While we have been so encouraged by everyone we’ve met with in Friendswood, it was hard saying goodbye to our friends in San Marcos.

The night before we left, we invited some of the students and staff we worked with closely to enjoy some ice cream in our empty house. There were very few bowls and even fewer chairs, but there was ice cream and fun a-plenty in the Wheatley apartment!
